At 9:30 today (5th), in the preface of the "Nanjing Massacre History Exhibition" at the Memorial Hall of the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders, an offline light-off ceremony was held for survivors of the Nanjing Massacre who died recently.

They are Huang Liushi, Fu Zhaozeng, and Ma Xiuying.

As of now, only 61 survivors are registered.

The survivors of the Nanjing Massacre were the personal witnesses of the Nanjing Massacre by the Japanese invaders.

84 years ago, many of them lost their parents, brothers, and sisters in the tragic massacre. Their relatives were ravaged by the Japanese army.

84 years later, although the survivors have entered their dying years, the history is clear and they are endless.

The "Lights Out Ceremony for Dead Survivors" held today is not only a memory of the survivors who have passed away, but also a heritage of historical truth.

Shi Pengcheng, deputy curator of the Memorial Hall for the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders in China, said that although history is painful, it must be remembered!

The survivors passed on to the next generation the memories they congealed with their lives, and we have the responsibility to pass on the historical memories forever.

I hope that people will always remember this suffering history and cherish and maintain the hard-won peace. Everyone can build a barrier to defend peace and avoid the recurrence of historical tragedies.
