05 November 2021A 20-year-old volunteer from the "Amica Emergenza" association lost her life in a road accident involving the ambulance she was traveling on, in Bagnolo San Vito in the province of Mantua.
The 54-year-old colleague who was driving the vehicle and the two patients transported were also not seriously injured.
The accident when according to early reconstructions the ambulance went off-road.
Nothing to do for the victim, who was killed in the clash: the helicopter rescue and other ambulances arrived on the spot have only been able to ascertain his death.
The volunteer's colleague and the two patients - a 71-year-old and a man whose age was not disclosed - were taken to the hospital in Mantua.
