The collision took place against a gold warehouse in a district in Medellin, Colombia.
Twenty masked perpetrators struck.
According to the police, one of the criminals saw a police patrol outside the warehouse, got scared and alerted the others.
In clips filmed from the incident, several of the people are seen jumping on motorcycles and leaving the scene at high speed, some are seen firing shots.
