As Hurricane Wanda now sweeps across the Atlantic, the last of the 21 names on the list will be deleted.

Now you have to pick out a reserve list for the rest of the hurricane season.

This has only happened three times since researchers began measuring.

The first time was 2005, the year Katrina wreaked havoc in the United States.

Then it happened during the record year 2020 - and now it has happened again.

- Research shows that the intensity and power of tropical hurricanes has increased, says meteorologist Maria Augutis.
