A 21-year-old individual was arrested on the night of Monday to Tuesday in a bar in Metz (Moselle).

The police were called to the scene around midnight following a fight between two men.

One of them allegedly sexually assaulted a client of the establishment.

The latter's boyfriend would then have attacked him, told a source close to the police to Lorraine Actu.

The owner of the cafe then tried to separate the two men.

Two complaints were filed

In the scuffle, he was punched in the face by the client suspected of sexual assault.

The manager and the young woman both complained.

The latter would have been annoyed by the suspect and his attempts at seduction inappropriate.

The young man then allegedly grabbed her wrist and touched her buttocks.

The individual was found to be already unfavorably known to the police.

He would have committed similar acts in the past.

The accused will have to answer for accusations of "sexual assault" and "willful violence".

He will soon appear before the Metz Criminal Court, for which he received a summons.
