In the midst of a confrontation between party governments over the payment of disaster aid to all citizens, which is being promoted by presidential candidate Lee Jae-myung of the Democratic Party of Korea, the Democratic Party of Korea has refuted the government's judgment about its financial capacity.

As a result, it is expected that the conflict between the party and the government over the national disaster relief fund will intensify.

In a phone call with the media on the 4th, a key insider in the House said, "The government is trying to hide its tax revenue, but the party is not deceived" in relation to Prime Minister Kim Bu-gyeom's objection to the disaster relief fund for the entire nation on the grounds of financial capacity. .

The official said, "Even with the current tax revenue structure, it is possible to reflect the national disaster subsidy in the next year's budget.

This means that if the additional tax revenue expected to be generated by the end of the year is normally collected and used for next year's budget, a significant portion of the budget for the national disaster subsidy will be relieved.

The Democratic Party's estimate of additional tax revenue is between 10 and 15 trillion won.

The pressure on the government is expected to increase as key officials within the Democratic Party emphasize fiscal capacity and announce a policy to reflect next year's budget.

In this process, there is a possibility that the conflict between the party governments, which can be seen as a confrontation between the present power and the future power, will intensify.

Earlier, at the end of last month, Candidate Lee officially announced the promotion of the national disaster aid, and after that, he said that the total amount of national disaster aid per person should be at least 300,000 to 500,000 won.

For this, an additional budget of 15 to 25 trillion won is required.

In this regard, Deputy Prime Minister Kim said on the radio yesterday about the payment of disaster aid to all the people, "I don't have the financial resources right now," and "It's not a situation where money comes out if you just go through this and that pocket here and there." "The budget is never left and is always insufficient, and budget policy is to decide the weight after the first," he said.
