The Democratic Party, with candidate Lee Jae-myung, officially launched the presidential election yesterday, and the power of the people is ahead of the election on the 5th.

The debate battles between the ruling and opposition parties, who have entered the full-fledged presidential election season, are expected to be fierce enough to be reminiscent of the prelude to the presidential election.

The two party leaders are scheduled to hold a discussion without concessions on various issues in our society, such as the presidential election, suspicions of Hwacheon Daeyu and accusations, and real estate issues.

There are also 'initiative debate' held by the leaders of both parties alternately, 'IF corner' where you ask the party leader a question that starts with 'what if', and 'life photo corner' after the party leader.

Joo Young-jin's news briefing team will receive 'pressed questions' from viewers through the SBS YouTube community, and will ask questions live instead.

For the first time ever, the debate between the leaders of major political parties, which is being evaluated, was first unveiled at a news briefing held by Joo Young-jin on July 21st.

At that time, the two representatives drew attention for their fierce and dignified policy discussions.

Starting with SBS, major media outlets continue to hold discussions and talks with party representatives, and it is evaluated that a new foundation for a political culture of debate and dialogue is being laid.

You can watch the debate battles of both parties in real time through SBS TV News and SBS YouTube Live.
