Fuzuli 1494-1556, an Iraqi Turkmen poet, was born and died in Iraq and was buried in the shrine of Imam Hussein.

He wrote his works in Turkish and he wrote in Persian and Arabic.

The Turkmen of Iraq, the Azeris, the Turks, and the Persians consider him their poet, and we neglect him.

I wrote a study about him in an attempt to restore my curiosity as an Iraqi poet.
