According to Per-Olof Löfberg, they did not come to any concrete conclusions during the meeting.

But the municipality was given the opportunity to present what they thought about the establishment and how it has taken place.

- We had the opportunity to address what problems it has caused, he says.

The company had some understanding of the municipality's reaction to the establishment.

But they do not consider it a violation of public order.

Parking zones and reduced speed

However, some changes the company was open to start looking at.

- They could imagine certain restrictions, as long as it does not create obstacles in their business activities.

One limitation they could imagine was parking zones for electric scooters.

They were not willing to control this with technology, but believed that it was something that the municipality could look at.

They could also imagine slowing down the speed of bicycles on the pedestrian streets in Växjö's center.

Close down the business during the winter

How the company and the municipality would do during the winter months also came out unclear.

They did not come to a concrete decision, but the company said that they could consider closing down the business during the winter.

- It is in their self-interest to pick them up so that they are not destroyed.

The municipality will continue to take care of electric scooters that are incorrectly parked.

At the moment, the fee is SEK 500 each for the company, but the municipality is considering possibly raising that fee.

- It is because taking care of the bicycles costs the municipality a lot.

New meeting in two weeks

The most concrete municipality and company came to the conclusion that they will be seen at a new meeting in two weeks.

Then they will see what the municipality has come up with and what the company wants to agree to.
