Barezzi Festival takes its name from Antonio Barezzi, patron and father-in-law of Giuseppe Verdi, who sensed his genius and financed his studies, and is organized and produced by the Cultural Association Luce in co-production with the Teatro Regio di Parma, with the artistic direction of Giovanni Sparano , who says: “Battiato for us was the beginning and will forever be our stylistic beacon par excellence, he instilled in us the courage to dare in our choices by uniting“ Distant Worlds ”, close in beauty and style.

This edition, the fifteenth, is entirely dedicated to him, and I think he is among the most inspired and heartfelt ”.
