October 31, 2021 For the murder of Cristian Favata, 45, killed last night in Trapani, the carabinieri arrested the partner, Vanda Grignani: the woman allegedly confessed to the crime. The victim, with a criminal record for drugs and manslaughter, was obliged to return home at 11 pm. Last night he would be home late: this would have resulted in a violent quarrel with the woman who, holding a knife, struck a blow in the chest killing him almost instantly. The alleged murderer is now locked up at the "Pagliarelli" in Palermo. The detention has not yet been validated at the moment. Investigations are still underway inside the victim's home.
With two posts on Facebook yesterday at 11.36 pm and 11.38 pm, Vanda Grignani had written a few hours before the crime that she would do "something I never thought, I love you. Forgive me".
"Sorry I love you all I miss my family I am alone this being has led me to exasperation. The police and carabinieri of Trapani seem to get along well with him".
And again: "I asked for help, this destroyed me. The police and carabinieri of Trapani defend him. Okay I'm tired. I have nothing more to lose, forgive me"
