New decisions to facilitate entry procedures into Jordan

Today, Sunday, the Jordanian Minister of Interior, Mazen Al-Faraih, announced new decisions for the purpose of facilitating entry procedures into the Kingdom.

The Jordan News Agency (Petra) stated that the decisions aim to "supply the Jordanian economy in all sectors, especially the tourism sector, due to its positive effects on the labor market and creating new job opportunities for Jordanian citizens."

Al-Faraya decided to lift the restrictions on nationals of Albania and Moldova, so that nationals of the two countries are granted entry visas through Jordanian diplomatic missions abroad or through border posts upon arrival without the need for prior approval.

It also decided to allow tourist groups from Nigeria, the Philippines, Colombia and Pakistan to enter the Kingdom without the need for prior approval, provided that they enter within a tourist group of no less than five people and within an approved tourism program.

He also decided to allow tourist groups of Syrian nationality to enter the Kingdom after the tourism offices duly submitted an application to the Ministry of Interior and the tourism office pledged that these groups would adhere to the pre-prepared tourist program, and keep their passports with the tourist offices that brought them until they leave the country.
