Gard, Lozère, Ardèche and Var are placed on orange “rain and flood” vigilance by Météo-France this Friday.

A Cevennes episode strikes these southern departments.

Activated since 8 p.m. Friday evening, the alert now runs until Sunday morning.

Ardèche and Gard are also on "flood" orange vigilance.

Four departments in the south of France are still placed on orange “rain-flood” vigilance since last night, until Sunday morning.

A Cévennes episode which will particularly affect Ardèche, Lozère, Gard and Var.

Heavy stormy rains are also expected in the Var, in particular on the coastal areas.

Météo-France forecasts new precipitation during the days of Sunday and Monday, however it will be "less significant".
