The Mauritanian president discusses with Shakhbut bin Nahyan regional files of common interest
His Excellency Mohamed Ould Sheikh Al-Ghazwani, President of the sisterly Islamic Republic of Mauritania, received Sheikh Shakhbut bin Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of State, in the capital, Nouakchott.
During the meeting, they discussed a number of regional files of common interest, in addition to strengthening cooperation in the investment and economic fields.
During the meeting, His Excellency Sheikh Shakhbut bin Nahyan conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, "may God protect him", His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces... to His Excellency the Mauritanian President.
The two sides valued the level of bilateral relations between the UAE and Mauritania, and stressed their keenness to strengthen them, as well as their readiness for more future cooperation.
Meanwhile, His Excellency Sheikh Shakhbut bin Nahyan visited the Mauritanian Diplomatic Academy, where he was received by His Excellency Ismail Ould Sheikh Ahmed, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Mauritanians abroad, and they discussed a number of files of common interest.
