The private schools made precautionary and precautionary changes in the classrooms in application of the physical distance between students, including changing the study seats from pairs to individual so that each student sits on a separate seat, and decided to organize the entry of students to the bathrooms if there were crowds, and urged students not to gather in the squares during times. She indicated that it implemented the gradual return to the presence education in the classrooms on October 16 for students from the first kindergarten to the second foundational grade, while students from the third, fourth and fifth grades of the foundational stage began to attend school on October 19, and students from the sixth grade to Twelfth graders attend real-world education in the classroom, last Monday.

She added that she had put in advance plans with the return of students to physical education to avoid any congestion during the entry and exit of students, including the exit of bus students at one in the afternoon, and the exit of the rest of the students waiting for their families at one and a quarter in the afternoon, and preventing the students' families from entering school buildings without a prior appointment, and allocating Specific times and a certain number of people for the accounts and registration departments.

For its part, the Sharjah Private Education Authority indicated that it has developed the necessary plans, to ensure the full return of students to their classrooms, to engage in the attendance educational process, and to compensate them for any educational loss during the distance learning period, considering the students’ return to real education a joint responsibility by adhering to preventive measures, to ensure Continuity of in-person education.

Comprehensive return requirements

The Sharjah Private Education Authority explained that it has set requirements regarding a comprehensive return to the attendance education system, which are: leaving a safe distance between students that ensures no physical cohesion, obligatory wearing of a muzzle for those over seven years, and the need not to exceed the number of students in the class from the permissible density before the pandemic. While maintaining a safe distance, and raising the percentage of students on buses to 100%, with the need to speed up the involvement of schools for parents in the electronic platform “Your Children are Safe”, launched by the authority.

She added that the school staff must be vaccinated for the groups that are not excluded by 100%, and parents should be encouraged to raise the vaccination rate among students for the age group 12 years and above, and to fully comply with the amended guideline and the need for students who have health excuses to present a medical report approved by a health authority.
