On October 29, a press conference on the prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic in Zunyi City (the sixth) announced that according to the gene sequencing results of the Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the Zunyi epidemic was caused by the new crown virus delta mutant strain.
The epidemic in Zunyi City is generally relatively clear from the point of view of the transmission chain, and the source of the infection and the intergenerational relationship are clear.
At present, a total of 12 cases of positive infections have been reported. The first case is a branch of the northwestern epidemic transmission chain. The remaining 11 cases are all related to the first confirmed case, and they were detected in centralized isolation points and closed-loop management personnel.
The three rounds of nucleic acid test results for all employees in the central city were all negative. There were no new case reports in the fever clinics of various hospitals, indicating that the community transmission channels were basically blocked and the epidemic situation was effectively controlled.
However, it does not mean that this epidemic prevention and control war has achieved a complete victory. We still need to attach great importance to it and prevent laxity.
