  According to reports, at the second meeting of Afghanistan’s neighboring foreign ministers, Iranian Foreign Minister Abdullahhiyan expressed his views on the Afghanistan issue.

  He said that this meeting mainly focused on the new situation in Afghanistan, and hoped to send a unified voice to Afghanistan, regional countries and the international community through this meeting, "We support the establishment of an inclusive government in Afghanistan, and we Emphasize that the responsibility for protecting the Afghan people and the border security between Afghanistan and its neighboring countries mainly falls on the current governance institutions in Afghanistan."

  Abdullahhiyan said that respect for Afghanistan’s territorial and sovereign integrity and non-interference in other countries’ affairs are the basic principles of Iran’s foreign policy.

Iran believes that it is necessary to help Afghanistan get rid of the current crisis, and getting rid of the crisis requires Afghan internal unity and the Afghans to do their best.

  He also said that Iran believes that the root of many of the problems facing Afghanistan lies in external interference, and the United States must take responsibility for the suffering of Afghans in the past 20 years.
