In the course of work on a criminal case on illegal hunting in the Saratov region, police officers found two cases of rifles not far from the place where the elk carcass was cut. They contained a carbine with a night sight, a tripod and cartridges, as well as a weapon permit and a hunting ticket in the name of V.F. Rashkin. Earlier, a case was opened in the region about illegal hunting, in which a State Duma deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation may be involved. According to some reports, it was he who was driving a car, in the trunk of which they found parts of an elk carcass. Hunting for this species in the Lysogorsk farm is now prohibited.
