The Governor of Sao Paulo, Jao Doria, who attended the launch of "São Paulo Week", within the Brazil pavilion at "Expo 2020 Dubai", said that "the city achieved great success during its participation in (Expo 2020), as it was able to attract Emirati investments worth 1.1 billion dollars." .

Doria added that "the UAE's investments are concentrated in major projects that include infrastructure, railways, metro, airports and ports, and the city enjoys the presence of major Emirati investors, as is the case with the Mubadala Fund."

He pointed out that there are direct relations between Emirati investors and their counterparts from the city of Sao Paulo, which contributes to strengthening economic relations between the two parties, and creates more opportunities in light of the great investment capabilities of the city and the UAE.

Doria stressed that "Expo 2020 Dubai gives the city of São Paulo a great opportunity to expand and search for useful companies," adding: "We also have a great opportunity to promote the tourism capabilities of the city, which is one of the most important cities in Latin America."

Brazil is among the most important investment and tourism destinations in Latin America, as it is considered an investment attraction in light of its great capabilities and natural resources, especially in the areas of agriculture, food security, infrastructure, transportation, energy and renewable energy sources, innovation, artificial intelligence and space.

The state of São Paulo accounts for 30% of the total Brazilian economy, and it has the largest factories of sugar, juices, coffee and fruits, as well as the best airports and a developed road network.
