28 October 2021 European stock markets start cautiously, after the declines in American and Asian stock markets.

Eyes are on Frankfurt.

No news on rates is expected from the meeting of the European Central Bank, but rather indications on the trend of the European economy and consequently on the lines of monetary policy.



In this context, Milan is up by 0.27%, slightly preceded by Paris (+ 0.33%), while London and Frankfurt are just below par.

The shares of the companies presenting the accounts for the quarter are in the spotlight on the Piazza Affari list.

Good reception for St Microelectronics (+ 2.50%), Stellantis (+ 1.31%) and Unicredit (+ 1.30%).

On the other hand, Telecom Italia (-5.50%) and Saipem (-6.10%) were bad.



Oil continues to decline on the commodity market.

Brent from the North Sea slipped to 83.31 dollars a barrel (-0.67%).
