This would be the first time that actors have been prosecuted for rape in investigations targeting the pornographic industry in France, according to the source familiar with the matter.

About fifty victims have been identified, according to the source close to the file.

Three people in pre-trial detention

"Four people were presented on October 22 to the investigating judge in charge of the case and were indicted on the count of rape," a judicial source told AFP. "Three of them were placed in pre-trial detention. The last person was placed under judicial supervision," she said. The Paris prosecutor's office opened a preliminary investigation in early 2020, then a judicial investigation on October 17 targeting the "French Bukkake" platform.

In total, eight people are being prosecuted in this case, the investigations of which have been entrusted to the research section of the Paris gendarmerie.

In mid-October 2020, four people had been indicted for aggravated "procuring" and "human trafficking", including producers nicknamed "Pascal OP" and "Mat Hadix".

"Pascal OP", in pre-trial detention, is also being prosecuted for "aggravated pimping and laundering of tax fraud" as well as "covert work", a source familiar with the matter said at the time.

The "Jacquie et Michel" site continued

"Pascal OP" is known for his pornographic video platform "French Bukkake", where "he produces his content that he will sell, but he can also work as a cameraman, reel of actresses, or producer for other platforms" , had detailed to AFP the journalist Robin D'Angelo, author of a book investigating his infiltration into the amateur porn industry. The second producer, Mathieu L. nicknamed "Mat Hadix", was jailed in December for not having respected his judicial review.

The site "Jacquie et Michel", incarnation in France of amateur porn, has also been the target of an investigation since July 10, 2020 for "rape" and "procuring".

After the revelations on the violence and practices imposed during filming, large French groups in the sector, such as "Jacquie et Michel" and Dorcel, had announced in November 2020 their desire to adopt ethical and deontological charters.
