Yesterday, the Emirates Council for Gender Balance, in cooperation with Cartier, celebrated the official opening of the Women's Pavilion in Al Wasl Square at Expo 2020 Dubai.

The pavilion, under the slogan "When Women Prosper... Humanity Prospers", celebrates the important contributions of women, and introduces visitors to the international event with its historical and modern achievements, and its progress in all fields, amid the great development witnessed by Arab and global societies.

The organizers of the ceremony, which was held under the patronage of the wife of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, Her Highness Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, highlighted the importance of the women's pavilion, stressing the need to work to bridge the gender equality gap once and for all. And urging cooperation between the public and private sectors for this goal, for which the first pavilion for women in the history of the Expo was established.
