A young sportswoman saw her round of golf interrupted earlier this week on a course in Australia.

An impressive herd of kangaroos has indeed landed on the lawn,

Wendy Powick was about to kick a ball at Arundel Hills Country Club in the east of the country near Brisbane when the animals appeared.

Very amused, the golfer filmed the scene and shared it on Monday on her Instagram account.

Over 40 million kangaroos

"They came to see me play", jokes the sportswoman in front of the dozens of kangaroos on the grass.

"I was standing at the 11th hole and suddenly all these kangaroos came in my direction," she then told Australian media.

“There are a lot of them here.

They usually stay to the side and watch you play, but this was really unusual.

"

The animals stayed a few moments before leaving the lawn, allowing Wendy Powick to resume her game.

This kind of scene is not surprising in Australia, which is home to 25 million inhabitants for 40 to 50 million kangaroos, recalls the
