“According to information from regional forestry dispatch services, over the past day on October 28, 2021, six forest fires have been liquidated in Russia by forest fire forces on an area of 1,059 hectares,” RIA Novosti reports from Avialesokhrana.
It is noted that by midnight on October 29, six forest fires were active in Russia on an area of 236 hectares, they were actively extinguished.
The largest area of fires was recorded in the Khabarovsk Territory - there are two fires on an area of 220 hectares.
Earlier it was reported that federal funding for the protection of forests from fires in Yakutia increased by more than 1 billion rubles.
