Sinner's

race

to the Turin ATP Finals continues.

In Vienna, the South Tyrolean tennis player beat the American Reilly Opelka, number 27 in the world 6-4 6-2, and came back ahead of Cameron Norrie in the FedEx Race to Turin, the ranking that qualifies for the Nitto Finals.

In this very tight head to head, a three-way race to win a place in the final tournament of the circuit, Hubert Hurkacz is still in front, in 8th useful place (in reality he is the ninth but Nadal has already given up the rest of the season) but is already out of the tournament, passed on his debut by Andy Murray.

Tomorrow, in the second round, there will be a direct clash between the British Norrie, who is now back behind Jannik, and the Canadian Felix Auger Aliassime, who is behind the South Tyrolean.

As for Sinner, the Austrian Novak awaits him in the 2nd round.
