Three young men of 23, 24 and 28 years old were tried on Monday by the Criminal Court of Annecy (Haute-Savoie) for willful violence in a meeting and in a state of drunkenness.

They were appearing for having attacked with punches and kicks a couple in their fifties, this Saturday in the station area in Annecy.

18 months in prison for each assailant

The victims, aged 52 for the man and 55 for the woman, were beaten for no reason.

One of them even received "a stroller in the face", according to his statements.

According to her, a homeless man was also attacked.

The three men, all homeless, were quickly located and arrested.

Drunk, they were placed in a drunken cell.

During their trial, they were each sentenced to 18 months in prison, reports

The injuries suffered by the couple necessitated a temporary work stoppage: six days for one of the victims, two days for the other.
