As she said at the Labor and Employment Forum “The Future of the World of Work in Russia,” if all anti-coronavirus measures are observed, the period of non-working days will be short.

“I hope that if all this is observed, it will be a short period of non-working days, after which we will start working again,” RIA Novosti quotes Golikova.

Earlier, during the meeting, Golikova suggested that the head of state introduce a non-working day regime throughout the country from October 30 to November 7 due to the increase in the incidence of coronavirus.

Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed with the proposal.

He stressed that the salaries of workers on non-working days should be preserved.

Subsequently, Putin signed a decree according to which from October 30 to November 7, non-working days are declared in the country.

Some regions have decided to introduce non-working days from 28 October.
