A preliminary investigation has just been opened by the prosecution of Grenoble (Isère) after the management of Grenoble school management reported, on October 20, that GHB (rapist drug) would have circulated during three student evenings.

Although no complaint for rape or attempted rape has been filed, several students "presented the symptom of memory loss characteristic of this drug", indicated the public prosecutor.

The investigation was entrusted to the police officers of the departmental direction of public security of Grenoble.

For its part, the management of the business school has banned, until further notice, any new student party, reports

Le Dauphiné Libéré.

"We want to adopt a posture of authority on security issues," explained the legal manager of the establishment.

Act faster

This investigation comes just days after the signing, on October 15, of a convention on reports of sexist or sexual assault in the student world.

The Grenoble public prosecutor's office, several establishments, the Crous, the France Victimes Grenoble association and the Isère departmental public security directorate have signed this agreement.

It should make it easier to collect reports and act more quickly, while helping victims.

For now, twelve investigations have already been opened, including several for facts that occurred before the signing of the convention.
