The Skäggetorp district turns 50 this year - and it was celebrated with cake, 70s music and pictures from when the area was newly built.

- We run a café here, as we have done a few Wednesdays to create a good atmosphere here in the center.

Today there will also be music and cake, says Peter Särud, property manager in Willhem.

In the video, some of those who have lived in Skäggetorp for a long time tell why they thrive in the area.

Hafiz Sohail moved to Linköping and the district Skäggetorp from Pakistan to study physics and now he works as a teacher at Linköping University.

On Wednesday, everyone in the mall was treated to cake, including pictures, music and furniture from the 70s when the district was newly built.

“This is this is the best place.

I can not imagine moving anywhere else ", says Marietta Oinas who moved to the district Skäggetorp in 1974. The video tells why she thrives here.
