"Element of the show": the head of the "Liza Alert" squadron - about the "disappearance" of Svetlichnaya and responsibility for the death of a person

The famous actress, star of Soviet cinema, 81-year-old Svetlana Svetlichnaya, according to her relatives, disappeared in Moscow on October 21.

On October 24, the son of the actress and another relative turned to the police.

Investigators, rescuers and volunteers from the Lisa Alert volunteer search and rescue squad joined the search. 

The chairman of the RF IC, Alexander Bastrykin, put the search for the actress under personal control.

On October 26, Svetlichnaya was found safe and sound in a film studio - on a recording of a TV show.

After that, the chairman of "Liza Alert" Grigory Sergeev said that due to the "resonance" around the search for the missing actress, the organization did not manage to find the man who died in the forest in Lyubertsy.

In an interview with RT, Sergeev told how often such cases occur, and who should be responsible for the pursuit of the rating.

- What happened in Lyubertsy?

- A man disappeared in Lyubertsy, and later he was found dead in the forest.

The reasons why he went into the forest are unknown to us.

But, we know for sure that we could have spent much more energy on it if at that moment they had not been engaged in another event (the search for Svetlichnaya -

.).

The scariest thing I think is that there was some element of a TV show in which all the search engines took part.

Now imagine their feeling, their motivation in the future.

- Why were there not enough resources for two directions of searches?

The second search was announced late and after Svetlichnaya.

Her search attracted too much attention from journalists and intelligence officers.

The next day, this search could become a very large event that is difficult to regulate.

Thousands of people would take part in it.

To prevent chaos, we had to quickly solve many organizational issues that would help to find a person. 

- Because of this, fewer forces were sent in search of the man?

A lot of work has been done anyway.

There were four Liza Alert search groups in the forest.

But in the end, the man was found dead.

That is, the story is that we did not give as many resources as we could.

If the first erroneous search did not exist, then we could spend the entire resource in another place, do you understand?

How do you prioritize?

- We do not choose between famous or not famous.

Between a person with and without a disability.

We have a criterion - a person who cannot ensure his own safety to a greater extent than another is sought first.

That's all.

In some cases, when there are many searches, we choose priorities in a completely different way - who we find first in order to quickly free ourselves and go to the search where we can get stuck.

But we will always look for children and people aged 89+ at the beginning of our journey.

These are the people who will definitely need our help the most.

- What would you like to say to everyone who participated in this event?

- The organizers of the loss, if there were any, I have absolutely nothing to say.

Alexander Bastrykin was sincerely worried about the actress - he took personal control of her search, and this was an element of the show.

I think that he, like me, is unpleasant.

In turn, the director of the Guild of Cinema Actors of Russia Valeria Gushchina apologized for the benefit performance of Svetlichnaya.

“On behalf of those who sincerely worried, I apologize to all the volunteers of the Lisa Alert search squad, whom television is unlikely to offer any sanatorium as payment, although they were honestly looking for an actress,” Gushchina said.
