The diplomat stressed that the meeting for the purpose of working out the information and political campaign, which is being held by official Kiev, does not make sense.
German Ambassador to Russia Geza Andreas von Geir previously announced the preparation of negotiations in the Normandy format.
The exact date of the meeting is still unknown.
According to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, further prospects for the Normandy format depend on Ukraine's implementation of the Minsk agreements.
