The bike ride was carried out near a nature area outside Arvidsjaur - but ended at a military protection area where the Armed Forces carried out a sharply charged shooting exercise.
At the scene, the woman had to identify herself to one of the commanders of the Armed Forces and now a year later she has been sentenced to a suspended sentence and almost 14,000 kronor in fines for the crime unauthorized access to protected objects.
The woman has been negligent
During questioning, the woman stated that she had a bad sense of place and cycled along a path that she had not used before and that she did not intend to enter the protected area.
The district court believes that it is not possible to question her statement that she is happy with her life and did not intend to put herself in the current situation.
The court judges that the woman did not act with intent when she entered the protection area, however, the woman has been negligent in her actions, which means that she is convicted of the crime.
