Was the worker who died on Saturday on a construction site in Pleurtuit near Dinard (Ille-et-Vilaine) working illegally?

This is in any case what suspects the justice which opened an investigation to determine the causes of the accident.

"We have some suspicions of hidden work", indicates Christine Le Crom, prosecutor of the Republic of Saint-Malo, quoted by

The presence of workers on a Saturday raises questions

The dramatic accident occurred on Saturday morning around 10 a.m. on the construction site of a building.

While two brothers of Turkish origin were removing the props supporting a balcony, a concrete slab weighing several tons collapsed.

One of the two brothers, 28, was run over and died instantly.

Very shocked, the second was taken to Saint-Malo hospital.

The labor inspectorate was seized to try to understand why the balcony collapsed and under what conditions the workers were working on this site which was deserted on Saturday morning.
