Commenting on Morgenstern's statement, Peskov noted that I just want to humanly recommend young people to talk to their grandparents on this topic.

“Or come to some veteran, of whom there are fewer and fewer ... and ask why Victory Day is so important and why it was, is and will be forever important for our country,” Peskov said.

Also, the representative of the Kremlin believes that such judgments can occur "not out of malice", but out of ignorance and "it is very easy to fill these gaps here."

Peskov added that young people who are popular among their peers should be morally responsible for such important concepts for the whole country as Victory Day.

Earlier it became known that Morgenstern doubted the need to celebrate Victory Day.
