It has been five days since Nils Grönberg, better known as Einár, was shot dead in Hammarby Sjöstad in Stockholm, but no suspect has yet been arrested.

- The investigation continues with full force.

We have a good picture of the course of events, but we work broadly and have not locked ourselves into any special focus, says Mats Eriksson, press spokesperson for the Stockholm Police Media Center.

Will hold more interrogations

He describes the police's work as "broad and unconditional".

Up to and including Monday, the police had conducted 113 interrogations linked to the incident and the survey of Einár.

They also continue to go through tips that come in to the police.

-

We will hold more interrogations and continue to be on site in the area.

It is still a matter of getting tips about individuals or vehicles that have been observed in the area before and during the event, says Mats Eriksson.

Another investigative measure is to review material from surveillance cameras.

Mats Eriksson confirms that the police have obtained this type of material but does not want to go into what this has meant for the investigation.

May be associated with other shooting

In connection with the shooting, Einár is said to have been in the company of two other people whom the police are working to try to identify.

According to information to Expressen, these two people must have been involved in a shooting in Sätra the day before the murder.

The police confirm that a shooting in Sätra on October 20 has taken place, but do not want to go into further details in the case.

However, it is stated that there may be a connection between the shooting and the murder of Einár.

- We always look at whether there is a connection between different matters that could be linked to each other.

If we have knowledge of different events that can be linked to each other, we will see if there can be a connection, says Mats Eriksson.
