“We are forced to intensively expand the bed fund.

In the regions, 292 thousand beds were deployed, which is 6% more than a week earlier.

And more than 65% of the converted beds are equipped with oxygen, ”he said at a meeting of the presidium of the coordination council under the Russian government to combat the spread of coronavirus.

The head of the department noted the need to increase the number of covid beds in 13 regions of Russia and introduce more intensive restrictive measures.

According to Murashko, in general, the share of free bed capacity is 12%.

Among such problem areas, the minister named such subjects as the Udmurt Republic, Smolensk Region, Chukotka Autonomous District, Ulyanovsk Region, Saratov Region, Mari El Republic, Omsk Region, Ryazan Region, Primorsky Territory, Republic of Adygea, Vladimir Region, Chuvash Republic and Samara Region ...
