A man kills himself after a chase with the gendarmes in Brittany

A chase turned into a drama late Monday afternoon in the town of Rédéné near Quimper (Finistère), reports

At around 5 p.m., a motorist driving at high speed on the RN165 was chased by the gendarmes.

According to the daily, the driver refused to comply and continued on his way, slaloming between the vehicles.

On an exit ramp from the expressway, the individual lost control of his vehicle, which struck a security barrier before running into the trees.

Alone on board, the driver died despite the intervention of firefighters and Samu.
