In terms of total loss by country, China had the largest annual average of KRW 278 trillion, followed by India and Japan with KRW 102 trillion and KRW 97 trillion, respectively.



The World Meteorological Organization estimated that Korea also suffered a loss of about 28 trillion won.



Considering the size of the economy, Tajikistan suffered the largest damage, accounting for 7.9% of its gross domestic product (GDP).
