In recent years, under the personal care and strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and Emir Tamim, China-Qatar relations have advanced rapidly and in depth. The cooperation in various fields between the two countries has achieved fruitful results, cultural exchanges have become increasingly close, and good communication and coordination in international and regional affairs have been maintained. .

Wang Yi's visit will further promote the implementation of the important consensus reached by the two heads of state on the development of bilateral relations, deepen the political mutual trust between China and Qatar, strengthen practical cooperation between the two sides, and promote new progress in the China-Qatar strategic partnership.
