The upper secondary school at Åsa Gårdsskola in Kungsbacka will be closed down in stages starting next semester, and then moved to Åsaskolan a stone's throw away. A decision that made half the teaching staff resign. - It's really bad, it gets much worse for us students. In some subjects we do not have teachers, which means that we will get worse grades if we have substitutes all the time, says Joud Alshhaf, year 7 student.
The reason for the decision is that Åsa Gårdsskola is too crowded.
The reorganization will start next semester and last for three years.
In the clip above, students and teachers tell more about the situation at the school after the decision to close.
