Sudan: America is concerned about the army's control.. Hamdok demands the people to occupy the street

The US Special Envoy expressed grave concern about reports of the military coup in Sudan.

He said that the United States is deeply concerned by reports of the military's control of the reins in Khartoum.

For its part, the Sudanese Ministry of Information announced that the joint military forces that are holding Sudanese Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdok inside his house are putting pressure on him to issue a statement in support of the “coup.”

The ministry added that Sudanese Prime Minister Hamdok, in a letter from his house arrest, asked the Sudanese to adhere to peace and occupy the streets to defend their revolution.
