25 October 2021 After almost two years from the bike trip in 377 Sardinian municipalities, the record of the musician Sebastiano Dessanay is born, double bass player and composer who has chosen to cross a land rich in charm, traditions, culture but where nature is still wild in many places and untouched.

The journey lasted 14 months, riding a bicycle, visiting one by one the 377 municipalities scattered throughout Sardinia. And while traveling Dessanay has created, with his bass ukulele, 377 musical fragments - one for each municipality visited - which today he wants to collect in a dedicated disc: the 377 project. Other musicians have contributed to the project - currently the protagonist of a fundraising campaign on Produzioni dal Basso, the first crowdfunding and social innovation platform - including Australian pianist Peter Waters, drummer Roberto Migoni and guitarist and composer Francesco Morritu.

The sound fragments of Dessanay have been enriched in such a way as to be able to convey exactly the sensations that the musician felt during his journey: the enthusiasm of the beginning, the amazement felt in front of nature, the melancholy transmitted by some villages in via depopulation, the peace of uncontaminated landscapes, sometimes even desolate, the energy of the inhabitants of lively centers but also the sadness of some stories told.

The disc will be recorded between October and November in Cagliari and printed both in CD and vinyl version in limited edition.
