The Squid game series has an age limit of 16 years, but many violent scenes from the series have flourished on social media and therefore Rönnbyskolan chose to go out with an information letter to the parents.

It to draw their attention to the fact that the series is everywhere.

- It is the parents' responsibility to keep track of what the children are watching, but we got the feeling that not all adults knew what the children saw.

At school, there was a lot of talk about the Squid game and the students played power games, says Kristin Engström.

Lina Ljungdahl works as a social educator at the school and she says that both teachers and leisure staff have noticed that children in primary school have seen and heard sequences from the series.

- Among other things, we saw that the children played games where there was a clear difference in power and it can easily be traced, she says.

After the mailing, however, both the curator and the social educator believe that the children talked less about the series and that the games decreased.

In the clip, the school staff tell more about the problems surrounding the series.
