Several police officers went to an address in Eksjö just before five in the evening.

According to the police, a man was threatened by a perpetrator known to him with a bow.

The man, who is in his 70s, could then be arrested by the police in connection with his home.

- It was a cut person who called us.

Thankfully, no one was injured, says police spokesman Johnny Gustavsson.

Large police force

Less than two weeks ago, five people were killed in Norway with a bow.

With that in mind, several police patrols were called and some were even equipped with reinforcement weapons.

- It is clear that those thoughts were aroused in us when we received the alarm, says Johnny Gustavsson.

According to the police, it was a fully functioning weapon that he threatened with.

The man is now suspected of grossly illegal threats.
