Two specific control operations were carried out, on October 7 and 19, in ten establishments in the festive district of Lille, we learned on Monday from the town hall.

With, as a result, several sanctions.

The ten establishments, described as discotheques, have thus been reclassified into bars, "which now requires operators to respect the closing times of bars", explains the town hall, in a press release.

That is to say 1 hour, Sunday to Wednesday, and 2 hours, Thursday to Saturday.

Administrative closure

Among these establishments, four are, moreover, "the subject of an immediate administrative closure, on the advice of the municipal fire safety commission", specifies the city which seized the prosecutor "for endangering the life of others ”.

Finally, to complete the picture, the police drew up reports for various offenses: lack of acoustic impact study, lack of breathalyzer and lack of video protection declaration.

During his back-to-school press briefing, the mayor (PS) of Lille, Martine Aubry, warned that she wanted to "identify establishments that usurped the qualification of nightclub", allowing them to benefit from a daily opening that could go up to at 7 a.m.

It has been several weeks since the city and the state services have undertaken joint actions "so that residents, in particular, find the tranquility to which they aspire", notes the town hall.

And it's not over.

Other operations are planned in the coming weeks.
