• Government Yolanda Díaz assures the repeal of the labor reform "despite all the resistance, that there is and there are many"

  • Congress Alberto Rodríguez will not sue Batet after the withdrawal of his seat but will appeal his sentence

The coalition government partners will meet today Monday at the

monitoring table of the government agreement

between PSOE and United We Can (UP) to try to redirect the situation after the

crisis opened by the labor reform

and the angry reaction of Podemos to the disqualification of his already ex-deputy Alberto Rodríguez.

Government sources have confirmed the holding of the meeting in order to

redirect the tensions that have

arisen between the partners in recent days.

The same sources recalled the request made last Friday by UP for the monitoring commission of the Government Agreement between the two parties to meet and address

the labor reform

in the framework of a climate of "understanding and coordination" .

The labor reform together with the disqualification of UP deputy Alberto Rodríguez after the Supreme Court ruling and the subsequent announcement of Podemos's complaint against the president of Congress,

Meritxell Batet,

have strained relations between the Government partners.

This same Sunday night it was learned that the former deputy of Podemos Alberto Rodríguez will

not sue Batet,

at the proposal of the new lawyers hired to prepare the appeal for his sentence for assault on a police officer issued by the Supreme Court, although he will appeal his sentence to regain the seat, according to sources in his defense.
