October 24, 2021 I am in the same room in the hospital in Padua, in a "covid box" of 40 square meters, both intubated and attached to respirators. They presented themselves to the emergency room of the hospital where they accused the symptoms of the virus, severe breathing difficulties, but they ended up directly in intensive care, after the result of the positive swab. They are both 50 years old.
It is not the first time that husband and wife end up together in a hospital room for Coronavirus: in Padua it had already happened and the hospital had tried to support these sick also on an emotional level, hospitalizing them in a double room. But this is the first time this has happened in intensive.
The Padua hospital company currently has 41 Covid patients, 10 of whom are in intensive care.
Half of these are unvaccinated.
