The relevant person in charge of the Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation answered reporters' questions on the authorization of the State Council by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress to carry out pilot projects for real estate tax reform in some regions

　　Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, October 23. On October 23, 2021, the thirty-first meeting of the Standing Committee of the Thirteenth National People's Congress made a decision to authorize the State Council to carry out real estate tax reform pilot work in some areas.

A reporter from Xinhua News Agency interviewed relevant persons in charge of the Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation.

The person in charge stated that the Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation will draft the real estate tax pilot measures (draft) in accordance with the authorization of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, and make preparations for the pilot in accordance with the procedures.
