"In order to prevent the further spread of coronavirus infection and in accordance with the decree of the President of Russia dated October 20, 2021 No. 595, the consular section of the Russian Embassy in Abkhazia will be closed from October 30 to November 7," the diplomatic mission said in a statement on Facebook.

Earlier, Russian leader Vladimir Putin signed a decree according to which non-working days are announced in the country from October 30 to November 7.

Rospotrebnadzor during non-working days recommends not to plan trips and, if possible, be at home.
