"Make a Wish" for the first two children at "Expo 2020 Dubai"

Her Excellency Hessa bint Issa Buhumaid, Minister of Community Development, participated in the “Make a Wish” event for two Emirati children, as part of a series of “Make Wishes” activities organized by the ministry in cooperation with the Make A Wish Foundation, and hosted by the Gulf Cooperation Council pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, to achieve 12 wishes. Children of different nationalities in the UAE, at a rate of two children each month, over a period of 6 months, from October 2021 until March 2022.

This event comes within the framework of the joint activities organized by the Ministry of Community Development and the Cooperation Council pavilion at the Expo, based on the memorandum of understanding that was signed between the two sides during the last period.

The "Make a Wish" Foundation is supported by the consort of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Advisor to His Highness the President of the UAE, Sheikha Sheikha bint Saif Al Nahyan, Honorary President of the Foundation, in the context of enabling it to achieve its goals and fulfill its noble humanitarian mission by fulfilling the wishes of children with serious illnesses that may threaten their lives .
